What
is the Making Tax Digital (MTD)?
Making
Tax Digital (MTD) is an HMRC initiative designed to make sure the UK
tax system is effective, efficient and easier for
taxpayers.
The
next major phase of the programme, MTD for VAT, starts in April 2019
and requires digital VAT record keeping and VAT returns to be
submitted electronically. From that date, VAT-registered
businesses above the threshold of £85k will have to keep digital
records and submit VAT returns using compatible
software.
So,
how can you find out what impact MTD will have on all your
processes and technology including e5? Come along and see how
together with Advanced we can support you in understanding
the complicated requirements around MTD and help you meet the
implementation deadlines?
